Tomás Ó Fiaich and the complexity of his native South Armagh
Monsignor Tomás Ó Fiaich became the latest public figure to revisit their childhood home for RTÉ’s ‘My Own Place’ on 5 November 1975. At the time he was President of St Patrick’s College, in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, but often made time to return to his native Crossmaglen in Co. Armagh. In this extract he talks about the people of the area.
