The Ring of Gullion and Cooley Red Squirrel Group is a voluntary organisation dedicated to the protection and promotion of the Red Squirrel in the Ring of Gullion and Cooley area.

The Group members monitor and report the activities of the Red Squirrel in the Ring of Gullion and Cooley area. The Group endeavour to protect the Red Squirrel and to provide whatever assistance possible to enable it to thrive in the Ring of Gullion and Cooley.

The Group needs all types of people to enable it to do its work.
We will be active in both practical field work and the administration of the recording of sightings and the results of surveys.
There are plans for activities to raise public awareness and to train people to observe and record.

We also need Fund Raisers and people who can facilitate presentations to other interest groups.

Come join us and help protect this endearing but endangered animal.
