Tourism NI COVID-19 Skills Impact & Recovery Survey

As we navigate our way through the challenges posed by Covid-19, Tourism NI are working closely with the industry-led Hospitality and Tourism Skills network [HATS] to understand the impact on the sector from a workforce and skills perspective, and to look at how best we can prepare our workforce for the recovery.

Early insights, from HATS, suggest that fresh thinking and collaboration will be critical and that investing in people has never been more imperative.

However, what’s also coming through strongly is the need for support and practical, employer-led solutions to help protect jobs, retain skills and build consumer confidence.

To help inform an industry skills strategy to support the recovery as businesses rebuild and prepare to open the doors to an evolved workplace, we want to hear more from those at the forefront of dealing with skills and workforce challenges.

Please take 10 minutes to respond to this survey to share your views and experiences

The results of this survey will feed directly into a collaborative approach to industry skills – as well as providing critical intelligence to government as part of the tourism recovery plan on the support and measures that are required for businesses to not just survive, but to prosper long term.

Tourism NI urge you to join a collaborative approach to industry skills and share your views today.
