Ring of Gullion Sessions

Posted on:

Well done to Colleen Savage – Oriel Events and Duncairn Centre for Culture & Arts for your energy and passion highlighting Ireland’s last undiscovered secret in the Ring of Gullion Sessions.

The Duncairn runs an exciting and extensive arts programme for the community every year, and the complex is home to more than a dozen autonomous groups catering for around 800 people every week. Located in the heart of north Belfast, we create the opportunity for everyone in the community to have access to and engage with high quality arts and cultural programmes regardless of their social or cultural background.  It’s been almost a year since they took our first steps in digital arts provision with the Duncairn Virtual Cabaret show, their greatly received and widely acclaimed response to lockdown #1.
They partnered with the brilliant Oriel Events in South Armagh to create a showcase of the area called The Ring of Gullion Sessions. Colleen Savage- Oriel Events Singer / Songwriter from South Armagh  is also a tour guide and cultural events planner in the Ring of Gullion area providing entertainment to a local and loyal following and visiting tourists alike.
The sessions were filmed in the beautiful Bluebell Lane Glamping site and the first episode features :
