Ring of Gullion Landscape Partnership Community Consultation of to a good start

Last Wednesday night saw the start of the community consultation for the Ring of Gullion Landscape Partnership. The music from the Ring of Gullion Comhaltas, and dancing from students of Debby Maguire’s School of Dancing left the audience in no doubt that the talent in South Armagh is second to none.

Darren Rice, Ring of Gullion Officer said, “People had a chance to have their say about the projects and there was also some fantastic ideas for their own heritage projects that the board will assess, and I have no doubt we will run with them”

If you missed the consultation in Mullaghbane there will be a chance for you to have your say in Forkill – 3rd July, Jonesborough – 17th July and Camlough and Bessbrook – 24th July.

There will be storytelling, and refreshments on the night in Forkill and a chance to have your say.

There will be an opportunity on the 28th of August for everyone to see the final list of proposed projects and have their say on them.

Darren can be contacted on 028 3086 1949 or [email protected] .To keep up to date with this project and other projects in the Ring of Gullion visit www.ringofgullion.org and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
