Regener8 Recruiting

The Clanrye group, based in the Courtyard at Slieve Gullion, is looking to recruit a fresh intake of participants for its Regener8 programme.

Regener8 is aimed at young people aged 16 to 25, not in education, employment, or training. Participants can gain up to six qualifications, take part in Good Relations trips, and employment opportunities to include a work placement, employer talks and mock interviews.  The programme is funded by the International Fund for Ireland and managed by the Rural Development Council.

Regener8 also helps to improve the young peoples’ personal/social development. A current  participant stated,

“Regener8 has definitely built my confidence, and I feel more positive about my future.”

Regener8 is a Peace and Reconciliation programme and trips have included Crumlin Road Gaol, Derry Walls/Muriel’s, and Epic Museum. These have given the young people a chance to meet new people, and increase their social skills.

Clanrye Group are currently recruiting for new participants to start the programme in March 2018. For more information, contact Leah/Dara on 028 3005 0511.
