Ring of Gullion Lúnasa Festival 2018

Dinosaurs, Celts, fairies and singer/song-writer John Spillane are all visiting the Ring of Gullion, South Armagh, this August, and you should too!

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Announce Further Geopark Project Community Events

The Geopark Project team at Newry, Mourne and Down District Council has announced a further series of public community events for 2018.  The team will have a presence at a number of annual festivals and events that are scheduled to take place over the coming months.  From June to September, if you are out and about at any of the following events you will be able to catch up with the Geopark Project team, who will be sharing information and engaging with visitors to answer any queries.

Views of Gullion Art Exhibition

A new display of landscape paintings from local artist Conor Ó Daighre, depicting Ireland's mystery mountain, Slieve Gullion, as it is seen from the surrounding townlands of South Armagh and Dundalk has just opened in the 3rd Place Cafe, in Market Square Dundalk. The exhibition runs until 8th June and is open from 8.30 am - 8 pm Monday to Friday and from 9 am - 5 pm on Saturday.
