Outdoor Recreation Forum and sports funding opportunities

Information about funding opportunities for small scale capital projects that deliver new or enhanced sustainable trails or facilities in the natural environment. The aim is to encourage increased participation by local communities in sport and physical recreation through strong community engagement and "ownership" of the project developed.

Arts Council Applications open for Annual Funding Programme 2017-18

The Arts Council is now inviting organisations to submit their applications to the Annual Funding Programme 2017-18. The over-riding aim of the Arts Council’s Annual Funding Programme is to support Northern Ireland’s arts infrastructure through grants to organisations in all art forms and practices for their core and programming costs.

Work due to start within months on new £4.7m Killeavy Castle boutique hotel

Work will start early in the New Year on the new Killeavy Castle Hotel at a cost of almost £5 million.

In the region of 90 new jobs will be created when the new development is completed and up and running, as well as more during the construction. And, if all goes according to plan, that will be finished and ready in 2018.

Beginning our ASCENT
