BTO 2018 Training

BTO is particularly active in Northern Ireland: there are many ways that anyone with an interest in birds can get involved. There are surveys and events that enable involvement by everyone, from those with very limited bird knowledge, right through to expert birders. They have organised a series of training events for BTO surveys.

‘Our Community in MIND’ Programme

The ‘Our Community in MIND’ programme is a new Foundation initiative aimed at registered charities who support Mental Health in Northern Ireland. The programme is open to charities with an income less than £1million, with a particular focus on Mental Health. Successful charities will be awarded a £10,000 grant over 12 months.

Ann McGeeney Trust Fund

The Ann McGeeney Trust Fund was set up in memory of Ann following her passing in 2014. The Fund was set up by Ann’s family and friends who wished to honour her lifelong work in community relations and peace building.
