As they approach the grand finale of their project and look to the future pathways that women will take as a result of their participation in The Next Chapter. Last week the visit to BBC NI studios in Belfast was such a fantastic opportunity and the networking that happened on the day was superb. It was a Peace & Reconciliation event for three chapters, Newry, Belfast Lisburn & Castlereagh and Newtownabbey. I think all participants came away with a stronger voice, more confidence to interact with the media and a greater sense of purpose in getting women’s voices heard for the important topics and not just the ‘fluffy’ issues.
