Mourne, Gullion and Lecale Rural Development Partnership Mandatory Pre-Application Workshops

Mourne, Gullion and Lecale Rural Development Partnership will be holding a series of Mandatory Pre-Application Workshops across the district for potential applicants who wish to apply under the scheme of:

Rural Business Investment – funding opportunity up to £75,000 available

The Rural Business Investment Scheme will provide investment support for the creation and development of micro and small enterprises (including farm diversification and private tourism businesses) in rural areas. All towns/villages are eligible with the exception of those located within the town/city boundary of Newry/Downpatrick.

Rural Business Services – funding opportunity up to £300,000 available

The Rural Basic Services Scheme will provide capital support to ‘multiple service delivery community facilities’, which will help create inclusive, accessible, shared services in locations where there is currently a lack of existing or outreach services. Ineligible areas to this scheme include: Downpatrick/Newry/Ballynahinch/Kilkeel/Warrenpoint/Newcastle.

NOTES:

  • REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL
  • Attendance at one of the above Mandatory Pre-Application Workshop is essential.
  • Workshops must be attended by a representative that has authority to sign documents on behalf of the organisation e.g. business owner / company director or office bearer – you cannot send someone on your behalf.

At the workshops information will be presented on: · An overview of the programme · Eligibility criteria · The application process

There will also be an opportunity to speak with a member of staff on a one-to-one basis.
