Launch of the 2018 Moth Poetry Prize

The Moth Poetry Prize offers one of the most lucrative awards in the world for a single unpublished poem.

Prizes are as follows:

One prize of €10,000.

Three runner-up prizes of €1,000.

Shortlisted poems will be published in the spring 2019 issue of The Moth. The winner will be announced at a special award ceremony at Poetry Ireland in Dublin in the spring of 2019.

The programme is open worldwide to anyone over the age of 16, providing their poem is previously unpublished.

Entries must be entirely the work of the entrant. Applicants can write on any subject and there is no line limit.

Entries must be in English.
