Launch of Gullion Echoes – a book of poetry and prose and accompanying DVD of selected readings

Gullion Echoes arose out of a series of workshops conducted earlier this year in Crossmaglen (organised and funded by the Ring of Gullion) and in Tí Chulainn (organised by Cuimhneamh and funded by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland as supported by the National Lottery).

The course focused on the themes of identity, home, and place and participants used poetry and prose to express their thoughts and feelings. They then used photography to reflect their writings.

Tutors on the course were Laurence McKeown (creative writing) and Zoë O’Reilly (photography).

Unfortunately the book is not for sale – only a limited number of copies could be produced due to limited funding but following the screening of the film it will be available on YouTube.

Everyone welcome on the night. Admission is free. Tí Chulainn, Thursday 1 September, 7.00 p.m. sharp
