Experience the people, places and culture of the aUGGp of Mourne Gullion Strangford through Atlantic CultureScape, a €2million innovative project to collectively develop sellable experiences rooted in the Atlantic Area’s intangible cultural heritage in seven areas on Europe’s Atlantic coast.

The three year project involves Newry, Mourne and Down District Council as lead partner, working collaboratively with Breacon Beacons National Park Authority in Wales, Rio Maior Municipality in Portugal, Cork, Munster University of Technology in Ireland, the University of Vigo; Regional Government for Cantabria and Andalusian Agency of Cultural Institutions in Spain. There are also eleven associate partners involved.
