Call for Financial Assistance – May 2015

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council invites applications for financial assistance towards the three programme areas outlined below:

· Capital Call for Community, Sporting and Recreational Capital Schemes.
Applicants can apply for between a minimum of £20,000 and maximum of £100,000.

· Community Festival Fund, (DCAL and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council).
Applicants can apply for up to a maximum of £3,000.

· Good Relations, (OFMDFM and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council)
Applicants can apply for up to a maximum of £500.

Applications open from 11th May 2015 and close on Friday 29th May 2015 at 4pm, (late applications will not be considered).

Application forms can be collected from and submitted to the receptions in O’Hagan House, Monaghan Row or Downshire Civic Centre. Application forms can also be downloaded from the website www.newrymournedown.org.

Please note: Financial Assistance forms that are no longer valid can still be downloaded through the old Newry and Mourne Council website. When signposting groups please emphasise that they must download application forms from the new Council website, www.newrymournedown.org.

Applicants should be advised to study the Guidance Notes carefully before completing the relevant application form. Applicants should also be advised that they must include all documentation on the checklist in Section 4 and not assume that because they have applied before that the Council has this information.
