Ring of Gullion Youth Ranger Programme 2016 – CLOSED

Posted on:

Applications for the 2016 programme are open until 31st May 2016.

Would you like the opportunity to learn outdoor adventure and practical conservation skills?  Do you have a passion for the Ring of Gullion and the wider environment?  Perhaps you would like to work in the environmental conservation field? Then this could be the opportunity for you.

The Ring of Gullion Landscape Partnership is looking for 14 to 17 year olds to participate in their free Youth Ranger programme running from 18th July to 29th July 2016 (excluding the weekend).  The programme will give you the opportunity to learn outdoor skills such as navigation, zombie apocalypse survival skills and canoeing, whilst exploring the Ring of Gullion; learning about how it formed and its rich biodiversity and heritage.  Most importantly of all, its an opportunity for you to learn practical conservation skills and contribute to the environmental management of the area.

If you would like an idea of what the 2015 Youth Rangers did check out our updates and photo gallery.

If this sounds like something for you, please check out the application pack below.

We look forward to hearing from you.
