The Ring of Gullion Landscape Partnership, with Laurence McKeown writer, playwright, and filmmaker are running a series of six creative writing classes in Crossmaglen Community Centre. The whole nature of the course will be to encourage participants to express themselves in the manner they wish and to write their feelings and thoughts.
The creative writing classes, six workshops of 2 hours each, will explore the use of both poetry and prose to convey thoughts, images and emotions. Participants will focus on the themes of home, place and identity
This series of workshops is aimed at those who have little or no previous experience of writing and it’s not a test of your command of the English language, grammar, or spelling; writing is meant to be fun!
The series of six workshops will be from 7.30pm until 9.30pm on 16th February, 23rd February, 1st March, 8th March, 15th March and 22nd March.
There will be tea and coffee on arrival and all materials will be supplied.
