Get Involved

Are you looking for a new challenge?  Want to be part of something special? Do you love the outdoors and have a passion for conservation?

If this sounds like you, ‘Get Involved’ as a volunteer with the Ring of Gullion and Cooley AONBs!

We are looking for enthusiastic people to volunteer as volunteers for Gullion and Cooley to help us to deliver a variety of initiatives aimed at conserving and enhancing this outstanding area.  Volunteering offers you a chance to make a real and visible difference to the wildlife and landscape of The Ring of Gullion and Cooley; learn new skills, meet like minded people, discover the habitats and heritage of the Ring of Gullion and Cooley AONBs, and enjoy the outdoors.

So, whether you have a skill you would like to share, or wish to learn something new, get in touch and we’ll find a place for you or your group. All we ask in return is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.  We have opportunities for 5 year olds (accompanied by responsible adults) to senior citizens.

If you are interested in joining us please complete the Get Involved Form below or contact the Ring of Gullion Officer on 028 3086 8900 for further details on becoming a ‘Volunteer for Gullion’ and get involved today!
