Path maintenance on Slieve Gullion by volunteers

The path from the top carpark to the summit of Slieve Gullion mountain needs regular maintenance to protect it from erosion by the elements. Regular work also has to be carried out to repair damage in areas where people have strayed off the path. Our volunteers are vital to the on going upkeep of the path.
