Solstice literally means ‘light standing still’. This retreat is the perfect chance to unwind from all the stresses of the Christmas rush and provide a nurturing space for reflection and self-discovery.
Join local meditation facilitator, Ann Ward, who will gently guide you through a number of mindfulness exercises. You will learn how to anchor yourself in the present moment using the natural resources of your breath and your body. Through contemplative eating and walking practice you will explore how mindfulness can support relaxation and enhance holistic health and well being.
The day will include space for reflection, where you will discover the power of silence in a world full of noise.

Our relaxing mindful lunch will include nurturing vegetable soup, turkey, cranberry, brie & rocket sandwiches on granary bread followed by winter berry crumble and vanilla custard with calming peppermint tea.
