You are warmly invited to help the conservation volunteers continue their work of restoring Jonesborough Forest, located behind the Pastoral Centre.
Over the last couple of years volunteers have been working hard to turn back the clock and restore this neglected site to it’s former glory. We have cleared the over hanging vegetation and most of the invasive species. We are now working on clearing the paths of growing vegetation so that it is possible to walk comfortably around the site. We will also be marking trees for clearance in the next vegetation clearance season as some of the trees are sickly and/or overcrowded.
All help would be greatly appreciated in this endeavour.
All tools and safety equipment will be provided, all you need to bring with you is weather appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear (ideally hiking boots).
