Volunteer opportunity – Right of Way Restoration

Volunteer opportunity – Right of Way Restoration

Can you spare a few hours to restore sections of the Cambrook Estate / Father Cullen Park right of way? The majority of the path is well used by locals, however some sections need some upkeep and restoration. The path runs from beside the start of Cambrook Estate, Camlough, along field boundaries and across the river to Father Cullen Park in Bessbrook.

We’ll be using hand tools to clear back vegetation along the path and tidying up the hedges at the side. We’ll be starting at the Cambrook Estate end, however you are most welcome to walk from the Bessbrook end.

All you need to bring with you is weather appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear (hiking boots are ideal) and a packed lunch.

Registration is essential.
