Stakeholders Online Meeting on Slieve Gullion Special Area of Conservation

Stakeholders Online Meeting on Slieve Gullion Special Area of Conservation

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is keen to seek views from a wide range of stakeholders on the management of Slieve Gullion Special Area of Conservation(SAC), to feed into a draft SAC Management Plan.

You are cordially invited to a Zoom meeting at 2pm on Thursday 25th February at which environmental consultants from Fieldfare Ecology will give a short presentation on the conservation of the mountain’s wildlife and habitats, and open up discussion on management issues. If you would like to attend, please contact us at [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you there.

In particular, we are attempting to write out via DAERA to farmers on the mountain to seek input and arrange a farmers’ meeting. If you farm on the mountain please contact us at [email protected].
