Nurturing Nature Retreat

Nurturing Nature Retreat

Rest, reconnect and re-energise during this unique Nurturing Nature retreat, nestled within 350 acres of woodland and a working farm, at the foot of the volcanic mountain Slieve Gullion.

This restorative relaxation break is an opportunity for you to totally switch off, slow down and reconnect with nature.  The experience includes two x 2- hour forest bathing immersions.

Forest bathing/Shinrin-Yoku is an evidence- based wellness practice which evolved in Japan as a stress prevention intervention.  2 hours in the forest boosts your immunity for up to 10 days.

You will taste this special landscape during tea ceremonies as part of these experiences in the forest with tea especially prepared with herbs and plants from the Estate.

Relax with a 1-hour spa treatment of your choice.

Chill out and enjoy gentle walks throughout the Estate.

Enjoy home grown, local and seasonal produce during your dining experience which has a farm to fork ethos.

On the last morning of your stay, join Head Chef,  Darragh on a Forest tea-making workshop using produce from the farm.  You will taste the unique taste of the landscape and take the gifts of mindfulness and forest bathing home with you.
