Next Newry Chapter Events

Following on from the very successful night of stories  in the Phoenix Bar, Newry there is further opportunity to connect with people that want to engage, learn and experience different self-development activities.

A second major event for Next Chapter Newry is a TEDx Masterclass event in The Canal Court Hotel on Wednesday 6th November, 10.00am – 1.00pm. This masterclass will be led by a team of expert facilitators from Bespoke Communications on how to become more confident in public speaking, how to connect with audiences, how to develop new ideas and communicate what makes you and your stories unique. This event is free to attend so don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity happening in Newry. This event is open to everyone, not just Next Chapter participants, so if you and/or a friend want to attend just head over to ‘GetInvited’.

See https://getinvited.to/cdpb/nextchapternewry for more details and to book your ticket.

  • Wednesday 6th November – TEDx Masterclass (10am – 1pm) in Canal Court
  • Thursday 7th November – Next Chapter Meeting (6pm – 9pm) in Granite Exchange

For the final chapter meeting of 2019, 5th December 6.00pm – 9.00pm, the Newry Chapter will have a training event delivered by Eileen Fegan (LL.B, LL.M) and the theme will be ‘Women, Human Rights and CEDAW – What We Need to Know Now’. This is a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding around CEDAW etc. and should prove invaluable to those who attend. Please send me an email to secure your place at this training.

What is the Next Chapter?

It’s a programme for women of all backgrounds and ages across Northern Ireland and the border counties of the Republic of Ireland to develop their ideas, build communities and support the transition out of conflict.
