Lúnasa Festival – Trekking Thursdays: Tale of two villages

Join your guide and local historian, Kevin, on a guided walk through the two villages of Mullaghbane and Forkhill; taking in their joint hinterland. Along the way you’ll visit sites of cultural, historical and mythological interest, such as the grave of Art Mac Binead, Jackson’s Folly and Peadar O’Doirnin’s school.

Throughout the walk you’ll be treated to views of Slieve Gullion and the spectacular Ring of Gullion.

The walk will be followed by an evening of music, showcasing the local talents of the Ring of Gullion Traditional Arts Partnership.

Cost: £2 for walk – payable on the day
