Dipping to make discoveries. Join us to learn what dwells beneath the surface of the Slieve Gullion Courtyard Pond. Pond dipping is something that every child can do and learning even a little about the mini-beasts will reveal a whole new world hidden beneath the surface. Perhaps they will be lucky enough to find a baby frog or newt.
Older children will have the opportunity to use identification keys to work out what they have found.
Cost: Free, but booking is essential as places are limited.
Please note you only need to book a space for your child or children, however children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. The two sessions will be identical, the morning session will run from 10.00 – 12.00 and the afternoon session will run from 14.00 – 16.00.
