Join Clive, from Welig Heritage Crafts, to learn how to weave your own traditional potato basket from a selection of willow. Clive will expertly guide you through the various steps required to make your basket, including choosing, sorting and preparing willow for use, how to create a circular base and how to create a vertical edge.
There will also be a display of other willow creations.
Cost: £10 – payable on the day, booking essential, as the class size is limited to 8.
Please note: Lunch is not included so please bring a packed lunch, alternatively a selection of cold and hot food is available in the Spar in Mullaghbane. A reasonable level of manual dexterity is required.
