Fairy Trail Guided Walk at Slieve Gullion

Fairy Trail Guided Walk at Slieve Gullion

Come along and enjoy an extra special guided tour of the magical Fairy Trail at Slieve Gullion Forest Park. Visitors will embark on a journey through a landscape of intertwined fairy houses and stunning magical sculpture and art in a land of mystery , dragons, witches and fairies.

The walk will be lead by Sharon, the forest elf, whose in-depth knowledge of the intricacies of fairy life will add an extra dimension through story, games and activities on the walk.

The event costs £6.00 per person (free for under 2’s). Sharon’s activities are most suitable for children aged 4-10 but all children and babies are welcome (please note that the paths are rough and a good tough buggy or sling is preferable for transporting babies). Remember this is an outdoor activity and suitable footwear and outdoor clothing should be worn – fairy wings are optional!

It is essential to book for this event before 24th May as places are limited. Please ring Newry Visitor Information Centre 028 3031 3170 to book a place. There are two walks available starting at 10.00am and at 11.30am, each walk lasts 1.5 hours.
