Council Training Programme for Community Groups

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council are providing a range of training courses for community group members in the local area. There are limited places available on each course, so it is recommended that you book as soon as possible.

Courses available:

Emergency First Aid and Defibrillator (3-week course):

Available in Bessbrook Community Centre from 7pm – 9.30pm on Tuesday 3rd – 17th December 2019 or  Sean Hollywood Arts Centre, Newry from 7pm – 9.30pm on Tuesday 14th – 28th January 2020.

Legionella (1-hour course):

Available in Bessbrook Community Centre from 7pm – 8pm on Thursday 5th December 2019.

Fire Warden (2.5-hour course):

Available in Cloughreagh Community Centre from 7pm – 9.30pm on Wedesnday 11th December 2019.

Please note: Child Safeguarding and other dates for the above courses are available at community centres further afield. Please see the downloadable training calendar for full details.
