Children’s Dream Catcher Workshop (7+)

Children’s Dream Catcher Workshop (7+)

Join local artist, Diane McKevitt to make your own dream catcher, taking a walk in Slieve Gullion Forest to collect natural materials to decorate it.

Dream catchers were originally made by Native Americans, to protect young children and infants from bad dreams. The bad dreams were caught in the webbing in the centre and would be destroyed by the morning sun.

These are free workshops, but as places are limited booking is essential.

Morning session: 11.00 – 12.30

Afternoon session: 13.30 – 15.00

Please note: All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
