One Day Fused Glass Session: Ogham

Event takes place on March 3, 2019 until March 24, 2019

Creative Experience at White/Rock Glass Studio with artist Tracey Mc Verry. Participants will explore the extraordinary medium of fused glass whilst creating your own glass OGHAM artwork. Ogham is an ancient Celtic text/alphabet used as a way finding tool which was found primarily on native trees and standing stones throughout the island.

Celtic Footsteps – St. Patrick’s Saints of Oriel

Event takes place on March 16, 2019

This unique tour celebrates the connections between St Patrick and two of Ireland's first female Irish Saints, Bridget and Moninne of Oriel. Join your guides to visit the sacred site of Faughart, the birthplace of St Bridget, before following in the Celtic footsteps of Moninne, to the foot of Slieve Gullion where she founded a church in the 5th Century, finishing at the pre-Christian well dedicated to St. Moninne.

Introduction to Shinrin Yoku/forest-bathing – International Forest day

Event takes place on March 21, 2019

Celebrating  International Forest day, this is an opportunity for you to rest, reconnect and deepen your mindfulness practice within the nurturing environment of Slieve Gullion forest. Meditation Coach and Shinrin Yoku Practitioner, Ann Ward will gently introduce you to ‘forest bathing’ which is the art of connecting with nature through your senses.
