In this section we provide an overview of the management of the Ring of Gullion Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and the surrounding landscape. We tell you about the management structure and the staff that carry out this management and the work we do. You can find out about the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty designation and why the Ring of Gullion is such as special landscape deserving of this recognition. We also introduce the AONB Management Plan that sets out objectives and actions for protecting and enhancing these qualities. We have also detailed the Ring of Gullion Landscape Partnership Scheme and its Conservation Action Plan 2014-18.
