The elder and blackthorn seeds collected and processed by volunteers in the autumn are ready for planting out into pots. You are warmly invited to help us plant out our seeds and start off the next generation of elder and blackthorn. The saplings will be raised in our tree nursery (once it is established) until they are ready to be planted out in their new permanent homes.
We’ll be working outside in the Slieve Gullion courtyard, so suitable outdoor clothes are needed. All safety equipment and materials needed for the task will be provided.
