Art brings the generations together with this parent and child workshop. Explore with your child the wonderful natural environment of Forkhill’s “Plantin”. Towering trees buzzing with bees, shade-loving wildflowers and grasses, hedgerows rich in texture and scent. Using all your senses and guided by local artist Caóilfíonn Murphy-O’Hanlon you will explore the natural world together and gather the materials to create a fabulous wildlife collage to bring home. Caóilfíonn is a talented artist who specialises in textiles, textures and found treasures and is a member of local arts co-operative ROGHA (Ring of Gullion Handicrafts and Art) check out their facebook page to see some of her work.
